Pecan trees usually range in size from 70 to 100 feet, but some tower to 150 feet or higher. Indigenous pecan trees more than 150 years old have trunks over three feet in diameter!
Our certified organic pecan nuts are cultivated using traditional methods, with our producers making sure the air, soil and water are free of chemicals and toxins. The result: delectable-tasting pecans rich in protein, vitamin E, omega-3 and omega-6.
The word chia is derived from the Aztec word chian, meaning “oily.” The Aztecs and Mayans were big fans, consuming chia as early as 3000 BCE for its healing powers and energy-giving properties.
Our organic chia is native to the Valley of Mexico in the centre of the country. It’s an excellent source of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids, rich in protein and fibre, and packed with antioxidants and minerals.
Theobroma cacao is the tree that produces cocoa beans. It was named by Carolus Linnaeus, the father of plant taxonomy. Theobroma means “food of the gods.”
